Mobilink, Page Me team upDSS Mobile's Mobilink Paging and Punwire's Page Me services have teamed up to provide a roaming facility in 102 cities in India. Page Me had earlier announced plans for roaming facilities in 460 cities. Both companies also plan to use the same frequency and service code -- 9628. To contact a subscriber to the roaming service, the caller just has to pass the
Punwire, which is still putting up infrastructure in 12 states, needs about Rs 5.6 billion for the project, Rs two billion of which is to come in as equity.
