Indian Airlines to develop software locallyIndian Airlines, for the first time, will be indigenously developing high-end software technology products for training of civil aviation personnel with technical collaboration of Sankhya Infotech Limited.Sankhya Infotech is amongst the very few organisations in the world having the technological skill for development of advanced computer based training products for the aviation industry, a press release claimed.
The Indian Airlines Central Training Establishment at Hyderabad is the first institution in the world outside Europe and USA to offer remote access mode computer based training facilities for training cockpit crew. Such a facility is currently only in three institutions based in Europe and the US, the release claimed.
