Softplus bags $ 1 million job from Asia Online

Email this story to a friend. Softplus Inc, a provider of e-commerce and customer relationship management solutions, has bagged a $1 million 'call centre solutions' contract from Asia Online Limited, a Hong Kong based Internet service provider.

Softplus will provide its products and solutions for Asia Online's Cyber Call Centre in Hong Kong and the project will be completed by November this year, a company release claimed.

The project will involve changing Asia Online's legacy billing system to a portal billing system. It will integrate the customer care systems too.

According to the National Association of Software and Service Companies the call centre industry today generates Rs 5.5 billion in revenues and employs 14,000 people.

Call centres are customer 'touch-points' and are a vital nexus where companies evolve personalised relationships with their customers, the statement explained.
