VSNL too offers 25-hour Net accounts

The Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited has decided to upgrade its entire Internet infrastructure and introduce 25-hour TCP/IP accounts for Rs 990.

These decisions were taken at a meeting of the board of directors yesterday, in view of persistent requests from shell account holders to effect such upgradation.

The 25-hour account is meant to encourage those who would like to try out the new medium for personal or professional use, a VSNL release explained.
