India 'A' advance to final in style

India 'A' advanced to the triangular one-day series final in Nairobi with a thumping six-wicket victory over hosts Kenya in their final league engagment on Tuesday.

Electing to bat, Kenya were all out for 216 with Ravindu Shah top scoring with 90 and part-time spinner Sridharan Sriram claiming four for 49.

The Indians reached the target with more than 10 overs to spare. Dhiraj Jadhav piloted the chase with a 105-ball 76 while Mahendra Singh Dhoni (30) and Sriram (35) saw the Indians home.

So far India have won four matches after losing their opening match against Kenya.

India will play Pakistan 'A' on August 19 before the finals which will take place on August 21.

Kenya 216 in 49.3 overs (K Otieno 35, R Shah 90; Sriram 4-49, Powar 3-42) lost to India 'A' 217 for 4 in 39.1 overs (D Jhadav 76, M Dhoni 30, S Sriram 35).
