A Board of Control for Cricket in India delegation on Tuesday met Pakistan interior ministry secretary Tasnim Noorani and the Indian High Commissioner Shivshankar Menon before inspecting the arrangements at the Rawalpindi Stadium, one of the proposed venues for the upcoming Indo-Pak series.

The three-member delegation, which arrived in Lahore Monday to review security arrangements for the high-profile tour, comprises BCCI Joint Secretary Prof Ratnakar Shetty, Inspector General of Police Yashovardhan Azad and BCCI's Communication Director Amrit Mathur.

Noorani apprised the BCCI delegation of the elaborate measures that would be in place from the time the India team lands in early March. The delegation also met Menon in Islamabad and discussed the arrangements.

Menon later said the Indian officials wanted to visit of all the six proposed venues and review arrangements.

"So far the Indian cricket tour to Pakistan is on. An announcement will be made at the end of the BCCI's delegation's visit," he said.

During the delegation's eight-day stay, they will visit Peshawar, Multan, Karachi, Faisalabad and Lahore to inspect stadiums and hear presentations by local police officials.

The Pakistan Cricket Board also deputed a three-member team to coordinate arrangements for the Indian team.

The venues and schedule for the three Test and five one-dayers is expected to be announced after the visit.
