The Punjab Cricket Association, which will stage the first India-Pakistan Test match in Mohali between March 8-12, would be sending over 7500 tickets to the Pakistan Cricket Board for sale through various outlets approved by the PCB.

Speaking to rediff.com on phone from Mumbai, Punjab Cricket Association President Inderjit Singh Bindra said that the state cricket association would offer free travel from Wagah international border to Chandigarh and stay in dormitory accommodation for those who are coming to see the match on shoestring budget.

"I am sending 7500 tickets to PCB and these tickets would be sold at Gadaffi stadium in Lahore [Images] through American Express bank or any other organization appointed by PCB. I am dispatching tickets today and should be available to the Pakistani cricket fans in next couple of days. Lowest tickets would be available for $35 dollars include free travel from border and stay in dormatory accommodation," said Bindra.

Indians living abroad and wanting to attend the Test match will be able to buy the tickets through www.pcastadiummohali.com official website of Punjab Cricket Association that will go live on February 28.

"As far as we are concerned we are ready to host the match. We have tickets to suit the pockets. For students the season tickets have been reasonably priced at Rs.60, which works out to Rs 12 per day for five-day Test match. Tickets with a higher price tag include facilities to match the payment. For example those buying AC enclosure tickets worth Rs 10,000 would get free drinks, lunch and snacks as they watch the match in comfort," he explained.

The PCA has sent a list of the hotels and guest houses to Pakistan Cricket Board along with tickets along with the telephone numbers so that the visitors could directly book the accommodations with the hotels.
