Filmmaker Manoj Night Shyamalan, who gave us The Sixth Sense and more recently, The Happening, made it to US Presidential candidate Barack Obama's [Images] event at the Albert palace in New Jersey.

Though Obama was not present at the event, which was attended by a number of Asian-Americans to raise funds for the senator, he did send his special guest on his behalf.
