Forex reserves up $378 mn to $73.6 bn

Foreign exchange reserves moved up $378 million to $73.583 billion for the week ended January 31, 2002 when compared with $73.205 billion in the previous week, according to the weekly supplement released by the Reserve Bank of India on Saturday.

Foreign currency assets were up $134 million to $69.888 billion. While gold reserves gained $244 million to $3.688 billion, SDRs were unchanged at $7 million.
