MTNL Trump offers new outgoing charges

The Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd has announced new outgoing rates under IUC regime for its pre-paid mobile card Trump, revising the outgoing charges for calls to landline phones to Rs 2.70 per minute.
The new rates are inclusive of interconnect usage charges.
Announcing free incoming calls from all networks, effective from May 1, MTNL said total outgoing charges (airtime plus IUC) for calls from cellphones to landlines would be at Rs 2.70 per minute against a total charge of Rs 3.40 per minute earlier.
In case of cell-to-cell calls, the new rates would be Rs 2.20 per minute against Rs 3.40 earlier.
Similarly, calls from cellular phone to wireless in local loop phones would now be charged at Rs 2.50 per minute as compared to Rs 3.40 earlier.
"With these rates, we have made our services further affordable," J M Mishra of MTNL said in New Delhi.
He said the company had already filed the tariffs with Trai.
MTNL also announced a free talk time worth Rs 100 (valid for 10 days) with every new Trump connection of Rs 250.
