Jet to offer 31,000 seats in winter schedule

October 29, 2003 18:07 IST

Jet Airways on Wednesday said it would offer about 31,000 seats daily by operating 255 flights to 40 destinations in its new winter schedule with immediate effect.

This includes a daily direct ATR 72-50 flight between Delhi and Jodhpur, which would facilitate passengers to reach Jaisalmer the same day, the private domestic airline said in a release.

Besides, Boeing 737 aircraft would replace the ATR 72-500 aircraft on Mumbai-Vadodara-Mumbai, Mumbai-Udaipur-Jaipur-Delhi and Delhi-Jaipur-Udaipur-Mumbai sectors thus offering more seats to match demand.

To meet heavy traffic between Mumbai and Goa, an additional daily flight by an ATR 72-500 aircraft would be operated from November 1, 2003 to January 15, 2004.

This would be in addition to the current daily four Mumbai-Goa-Mumbai Boeing 737 flights.

Jet Airways has a fleet of 32 Boeing and eight ATR 52-700 turbo-prop aircraft.
