August 18, 2003 'Each child must get an education' I work as an assistant teacher in a school that was established two years after Independence. I am basically from Bihar's Nalanda district and my father is a retired government servant. As a teacher, I have always wanted that children -- each one of them -- should be enrolled in schools. Our children must have an education, only then can India be on the top of the ladder of developed countries.
The other thing we need to do is to control our population. If I had to point out two of our biggest drawbacks they would be illiteracy and poverty.
