A team headed by DGP S S Puri questioned Sharma the whole day at the SIT office in Worli, south Mumbai.

The questioning came just a day after the arrest of Joint Commissioner of Police (Intelligence) Sridhar Vagal in connection with the scam.
"Last time the SIT submitted the report they did not take my complete view," the commissioner later said. "So last week I requested them to do so before submitting on November 12 the report relating to the allegations against me."
"I wanted them to take my view because being the commissioner, my reputation is being tarnished due to the various reports appearing in the media."
Police sources said more officers of the Mumbai crime branch were expected to be questioned soon.
Sharma was commissioner of police in Pune when the scam was unearthed. The then joint commissioner of police in Pune, S M Mushrif, had alleged the scam was not properly investigated.
