| He has been in judicial custody since November 2001 but, a few months ago, had spent for ten days in police custody. At that time, doctors from a government hospital were administering insulin and other injections to his client. There was when the virus may have been injected to eliminate his client, Nanaiah claimed on Wednesday in Bangalore."I don't want to talk about someone's medical history. But we knew that Telgi had tested positive for HIV two years prior to his arrest in connection with the scam," STAMPIT chief S S Sreekumar told PTI adding it is yet another attempt by Telgi to secure bail on medical grounds. STAMPIT is special investigation team set up the Karnataka government to probe the racket.
